| Bio: | Annie (n.): Just your average sarcastic, unintentionally-offensive, Pokemon-obsessed, laid back college student who thinks she's a new-age hippie and a dragon and is on a journey to discover life and hopefully why she is living as a teenager in the 21st century and not the 70s. "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." ~The Beatles ~ At first, the room seems empty, with the exception of an oily-looking black mist, hanging a few feet above the ground. The temperature drops as the mist begins to form a shape, first a head and neck becoming visible, then a lithe body, arms, legs, large wings, and lastly, a long line extended out in the back. It becomes extremely cold, goosebumps forming on your arms, ice crystals forming on the walls and small patterns appearing on the ground. The form becomes less smokey and more solid, gleaming, spiraled horns appearing, shiny scales and coiled tail following after. Slowly, the misty figure becomes a dark creature, looming in front of you. Now it's quite obvious what she is; a dragon. About 20 feet from head to tail, she stands about 10 feet tall. Stretching her wings to their full extent, about twice her body length, neon green skin stretched between each extremity, she regards you coldy, yet curiously, with bioluminescent, neon green eyes. Slowly the light emanating from them fades, and black, snake-like slits appear. You notice a small, boomerang - shaped scar beneath her right eye. She is jet black in color; the color of a midwinter sky, completely devoid of clouds, stars, or the moon. Her body is lithe, underbelly scales a soft, creamy color. Spines run from the tip of her nose about a third of the way down her neck, neon green skin stretched between each spine. She pulls her lips back, displaying long, sharp teeth, a soft, yet menacing growl escaping. Her tongue snakes out from between her teeth, a silver metal bar, about a third of the way up her tongue, glinting in the light. Gleaming white claws protrude from each finger. Her tail swishes idly behind her, a multiple-pointed neon green fin decorating the end of her tail. Just behind that rest two claw-like barbs, one on each side of her tail. She continues to stare at you in a rather unfriendly manner, frost beginning to form beneath her claws and on the tips of her spines, steam hissing as it escapes her nostrils. Her name is Shadow. Despite her fierce appearance, she can be very friendly; depending on if you make a good first impression, or prove yourself to be a free-thinking, intelligent individual. Part demon and part ice dragon, the cold doesn't bother her at all, although sometimes nothing is better than a warm heatrock with her mate curled atop it. As a general rule, she dislikes most humans. Although a few are dear to her, she finds most to be shallow and dense. She's not very fond of other dragons, either; she likes her solitude. She loves to contemplate, and enjoys nothing more than being left alone with her thoughts either in nature, at home in her cave, or in the skies. She has a penchant for getting into trouble and getting out just as easily. She's rather good at lying, taking pride in being quite the deceiver, the illusionist. She can disappear and reappear at will, occasionally choosing to shape-shift to her smoke form when she wants to remain anonymous. The only piece of jewelry she wears, other than the metal bar through her tongue, is a studded leather collar tucked just beneath her chin. Protruding at one-inch intervals are a series of metal spikes, each also an inch in length. At the very front of the collar, a large, thick metal ring is attached. Engraved around the metal ring is the phrase "Property of Azusis". Azusis is her mate, her other half of the orange, as he would say, and she loves him more than life itself. Nothing makes her happier than seeing her little blue smile, and she gives her love to no other dragon. He is hers, and she is his, and together, they are a single being, a cobalt blur in the sky.
